Asa sang at a wedding I recently shot in Liverpool and I was stunned!  I've been photographing weddings since 1997 and have never seen a singer at a wedding that was this talented.  He was world class...in English and Italian!  Asa was a massive hit and had everybody singing along too.  An amazing performer, a class act beyond comparison.

Dear Mr West,

We understand that you are the Manager of Asa Murphy and we thought we would have to let you know that on the Aurora from Okinawa to Sydney we had the great pleasure of watching Asa's shows where he received a standing ovation for each show. He was absolutely fantastic and the best singer we have seen at sea since Elaine Paige in 2005.  He went down well with all passengers and we also advised the Cruise Director who agreed he was superb.  We have seen many singers at sea and Asa was the tops.  We are on Aurora again for the 2011 World Cruise and we hope you book him on that ship again. We know that he is at the Gracie Fields Theatre on the 7th November and we will be there.  We hope he gets the same rewards when he joins Arcadia in Hong Kong.

Kind regards,

John Booth

Hi Asa,

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed last Saturday (10th July) at St Patrick's Social Club in Southport.

Your singing was amazing, and the atmosphere you created in the club that night was absolutely brilliant. Your opening number had the "wow" factor - and each and every song after that was just magnificent!
Ken does such a great job with you too. You can tell that you know each other inside out!

Everyone we have spoken to since has said what a fantastic night it was, and how much they enjoyed your act.

You thoroughly deserved the standing ovation and thank you so much for the encores!

We hope to see you again soon.

Best wishes,

Jim & Joan O'Shaughnessy

Hi Asa

My Mum and sister and I were on the Oriana last week and were really delighted with the two shows we saw.  Found ourselves humming the songs of the eternal swing era again.  I bought your CD and Julia played it on her way back home – said it was great.

Do keep up the good work – liked the patter – good balance and when you sang ‘Bring Him Home’ (Mums favourite song ever) I thought she would burst – hope to see more of you on telly.

Again thanks for your excellent shows – really enjoyed them.

Good morning Tony.  A huge big thank you for recommending Asa, my God he is amazing, he made the night for my Mum (Kate is 80 years young).
She was over the moon, she can't stop talking about him, and playing his CD which we are all enjoying listening to and remembering his amazing talent.
He was charming, funny and well I think it's the best last minute decision I have ever made.
I will no doubt keep looking out for Asa in the media and will see him again at one of his shows in the future, and of course take my Mum along.
His side kick Kenny was also very entertaining, I have yet to see anyone match up to their act on any TV show ever, so I truly believe you have a class act there, what a find!!!
I wish you all the very best and hope to be seeing Asa up there with the best of artists where he clearly belongs.
Again thank you and please pass on our thoughts to Asa and Kenny.  I have enclosed a pic of him and Mum, which will be framed and have a special place in her home.

Kind Regards, Beverley Bramwell
