Dear Tony, I have just returned from a great cruise on Aurora, and we had the pleasure of seeing Asa in concert. He was ABSOLUTELY stupendous...the best solo singer I have ever seen on a P&O cruise, he was the talk of the ship!!!!!
Such a talented and great performer...it was just a shame he only had 2 slots!!! My 80 year old father wouldn't drink at dinner on the second evening as he wanted to stay awake to watch Asa again.
Asa deserves great success in his career and everyone who watched him thinks the same.
I don't normally have cause to comment on a cruise act, but just felt I had to in this instance. I will be watching Asa's future with interest. I wish him all the best, he's also a lovely, personable guy.
Kind regards, Sue

I am over the moon to find Asa Murphy's website after such a long time searching. I first saw Asa Murphy at the Barbacoa (2002) and thought he was outstanding and truly amazing.
I have been brought up with the wonderful sounds and tunes of jazz that my parents played around our warm and loving home, so to find such a gem as Asa, it is fantastic.
I am a real fan...thank you for all the beautiful and magical songs that you sing and for making the music come alive.
I would love to know where I can purchase a copy of Asa's album please? Hope to see Asa playing at more venues in Liverpool and especially at the Barbacoa.
All the very best for 2009.

Dear Asa,
Just a short note to say a really big thank you for singing at our wedding in Southport on the 5th of July. Your act was absolutely fantastic and our first dance was performed brilliantly! We couldn't have asked for better music for our wedding - it really made the whole day perfect. If you ever need a recommendation please let us know as we would be more than happy to do so. Your voice was excellent and the whole show was amazing. Thanks once again and good luck for a really successful future.
Best WIshes, Christine and Paul Mottram.

Asa attended a company celebration that we had arranged on Thursday 1st November; he was booked at the last minute as the other artist let us down. Boy am I glad now.
Asa was absolutely FANTASTIC, he looks good, sings brilliantly and had a fabulous rapport with the audience – we would book him again without hesitation. The only disappointment was that we hadn’t booked him for longer!!

Subject: Asa takes the high road
At last, a Google search brings up the real Asa Murphy! A guy who can take a song, breathe into it some kind of secret, mercurial magic, and let it go - a free will offering - like a, like a...well, like whatever the listener imagined the song should be. A rare talent, indeed, one who can cast such a spell. Been a fan for a few years now, catching Asa at the Royal Hotel, Waterloo, and the Barbacoa. Looking forward to the new CD's and the Valentine's concert on 14th February 09.
Best regards and the best of luck to you.

Subject: New Year's Eve
Dear Asa, sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you, but time just seems to have flown this month.
The New Year's Eve Party at Clarence House Hotel, Dalton in Furness is famous in the area for being 'the best'. The piper to welcome you in, champagne reception on arrival, and a scrumptious seven course dinner served in our candlelit restaurant - with Christmas decorations famed throughout Furness. Yes, a night to remember for the last 20 odd years.
But this year was so very different because by good fortune, we found Asa Murphy. His voice is magnificent and his whole show spectacular and just hit the 'right note' with our guests.
Guests who have been coming to our party for many years wrote to tell us this was our best ever, due entirely to Asa and his charismatic personality. Not only did we find a truly talented performer, we found a friend - and hope to welcome him back again.
Just some of the comments we have received:
"Pauline where did you find Asa - truly wonderful show!"
"Well, that one beats them all - Asa was fantastic - book me in for next year"
"Wow, what a party, what a voice, what a show".
Thank you Asa,
Pauline, Victoria and family and all the staff at Clarence House Hotel.

Hi Asa,
We have just come from La Barbacoa after enjoying an evening with you. We really enjoyed it. I was very pleased and surprised to hear yo do the song from Les Miserables. You did it beautifully. Thank you for a great evening, my only complaint was that you mentioned doing an Elvis song but didn't do one. As usual I loved the Bobby Darin songs and Dino as I was brought up on him and you bring so much personality to it all. Thanks again. Mary and Martin

Good morning Tony. A huge big thank you for recommending Asa, my God he is amazing, he made the night for my Mum (Kate is 80 years young).
She was over the moon, she can't stop talking about him, and playing his CD which we are all enjoying listening to and remembering his amazing talent.
He was charming, funny and well I think it's the best last minute decision I have ever made.
I will no doubt keep looking out for Asa in the media and will see him again at one of his shows in the future, and of course take my Mum along.
His side kick Kenny was also very entertaining, I have yet to see anyone match up to their act on any TV show ever, so I truly believe you have a class act there, what a find!!!
I wish you all the very best and hope to be seeing Asa up there with the best of artists where he clearly belongs.
Again thank you and please pass on our thoughts to Asa and Kenny. I have enclosed a pic of him and Mum, which will be framed and have a special place in her home.
Kind Regards, Beverley Bramwell
